Elon Musk's Warning: "The End of Democracy if Trump Loses"
Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, has expressed his concern about the potential impact of illegal immigration on the United States' democracy. He argues that the Democrats' expedited process of granting citizenship to illegal immigrants could lead to the establishment of a one-party state, effectively ending democracy.
Musk's Response to a Thread on X
Musk's comments came in response to a thread on X, where Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) highlighted that the Department of Justice (DOJ) is suing Alabama for attempting to remove noncitizens from its voting lists. He also pointed out that the DOJ blocked the SAVE Act. Musk expressed his fear that the entire country could soon resemble the "nightmare" of downtown San Francisco.
Elon Musk's Full Post
In his post, Musk emphasized the potential consequences of not re-electing Trump. He believes that Trump's re-election is the only way to save democracy. He explained that if even 1 in 20 illegal immigrants become citizens each year, a process he claims the Democrats are speeding up, there would be approximately 2 million new legal voters in four years.
Given that the margin of victory in swing states is often less than 20,000 votes, Musk suggests that the Democratic Party's success in this endeavor could eliminate swing states. He also criticized the Biden/Harris administration for flying asylum seekers, who are fast-tracked to citizenship, directly into swing states like Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Arizona, calling it a surefire way to win every election.
Musk warned that this could result in America becoming a one-party state, with the only elections being Democratic Party primaries. He cited California as an example, where a similar situation occurred following the 1986 amnesty. He further stated that the only thing preventing California from adopting extreme socialism and oppressive government policies is the ability for people to leave the state but remain in America. However, he fears that there will be no escape if the entire country is controlled by one party.
Musk also criticized the media for dismissing these concerns as conspiracy theories.
