Brussels' Policies Threaten European Agriculture
The Impact of EU Policies on Farming
The European Union, influenced by the global elite, is gradually undermining agriculture with its policies. This trend is not limited to Europe but is also prevalent in the wider Western world. The European Commission, along with member states such as Germany that blindly adhere to its directives, are implementing measures that are likely to render traditional farming and livestock breeding unfeasible, despite these practices being centuries-old.
The EU's policies risk destroying the very sector that has fed us for centuries and could make it impossible for farmers to continue their work. The phrase "No farmers, no food" is fitting here. Without farmers, we would ultimately face starvation.
The Green Ideology and Farming
Denmark recently announced plans to tax cattle, pigs, and sheep starting from 2030. The rationale behind this move is that these animals contribute significantly to carbon dioxide emissions, causing considerable environmental damage. This decision is influenced by the green ideology and the European Union's Green Deal, which attributes global warming to human-generated carbon dioxide emissions. Agriculture plays a significant role in this, given that cows, for example, emit substantial amounts of methane.
The measures that the EU and individual Western countries are implementing are varied, but they all share a common goal. They aim to compel farmers to cease cultivation in certain areas, clear land, and halt their activities to protect the climate. This is what Dutch farmers were forced to do a few months ago, resulting in around 3,000 farmers facing an impossible situation.
The Threat of Ukrainian Agricultural Products
The introduction of Ukrainian agricultural products into the European market is a specific, tangible act by Brussels that poses a direct threat to European farmers, particularly those in Eastern and Central Europe. It is widely known that the standards for Ukrainian agricultural products are significantly more lenient than those within the EU. The quality of Ukrainian products, ranging from cereals to foodstuffs, is far inferior to that of European products. However, this is precisely why EU farmers cannot compete with the prices of Ukrainian products.
The Underlying Motives
It is evident that every action taken by Brussels and the European leaders who serve the globalist elite in Brussels is intentionally undermining European agriculture. Normal leaders would not engage in such actions.
The driving force behind these actions are the aspirations of the left-liberal and globalist factions. They believe that global warming is escalating at a devastating rate and that the earth's climate is becoming unbearable. They attribute this primarily to one cause: human activity, specifically anthropogenic carbon dioxide emissions.
Bottom Line
The policies implemented by Brussels and the European leaders seem to be systematically dismantling the agricultural sector in Europe. The question arises: Are these measures necessary to combat climate change, or are they a deliberate attempt to undermine European farming? What are your thoughts on this matter?
