NY Times and Media Matters Allegedly Set to Release Damaging Piece on Conservative News
In the past two days, Tucker Carlson, Ben Shapiro from the Daily Wire, and others have reportedly received text messages from a NY Times reporter. The reporter is said to be preparing a pre-election article on 'misinformation', in partnership with left-wing group Media Matters. This group is known for its efforts to deplatform conservative voices.
Tucker Carlson's Response
Tucker Carlson responded to the reporter's text in a dismissive manner.
Ben Shapiro's Reaction
Ben Shapiro, on the other hand, addressed the issue in a Monday post, stating, "If you were wondering what the legacy media would plan for its October surprise, wonder no longer: it's here. Today, I received the following text from a reporter at NYTimes."
He went on to question the NY Times' intentions, accusing them of using research from Media Matters, a radical left-wing organization, to pressure YouTube into penalizing conservative voices a week before the election.
Shapiro further stated that the article isn't really about "election misinformation". He pointed out that he has always acknowledged that Joe Biden won the 2020 election. He also noted that if it is "election misinformation" to discuss the "rigging" of the voting rules for the 2020 election, which led to massive mail-in voting and ballot harvesting, then the NY Times might need to have a conversation with itself and CBS News, as they essentially said the same thing.
Other Reactions
ZeroHedge also reported receiving a message from Newsguard, a news rating organization that has been criticized by Revolver News in the past.
Fox News provided a breakdown of the situation, describing Media Matters as a "corrupt, radical media organization" and criticizing the New York Times for outsourcing to them.
Meanwhile, Nico Grant, the supposed author of the controversial article, has reportedly locked his profile on a social media platform.
Appreciation for Supporters
In light of these events, the team at ZeroHedge expressed their gratitude to their premium and professional subscribers for their support in combating this situation.
