Radical Left-Wing Group Attacks F-35 Parts Factory in the UK
The Teledyne CML Composites factory in Bromborough, UK, was targeted by Palestine Action, an anti-Israel organization based in the UK. The group alleges that the factory produces crucial components for F-35 stealth fighters.
Palestine Action's Sabotage
A video posted by Palestine Action on Tuesday shows its members, referred to as 'Actionists' or 'agents of change', infiltrating the factory via the rooftop. They broke through the ceiling panels to access what the group claims is a 'clean room' for the production of F-35 jet parts.
Palestine Action stated that according to a senior Teledyne manager, contamination of their clean rooms could halt production for up to a year.
Confirmation of the Incident
BBC News confirmed the incident at the Teledyne factory involving Palestine Action. The report stated that three individuals were arrested following the second attack on the factory by pro-Palestine activists in three months.
Merseyside Police reported that they were called to the site after receiving reports of three people climbing on the roof and causing damage. Two people who had gained access to the factory via the roof were detained inside.
Palestine Action's US Branch
InfluenceWatch reports that Palestine Action also has a US-based branch. This branch aims to "dismantle the ability for the Israeli state to carry out its foreign policy objectives by obstructing the facilities that produce arms for Israel."
In 2023, the Washington Free Beacon reported that James "Fergie" Chambers, heir to the Cox Enterprises family fortune, had been funding the US-based branch of this far-left group. Xi Van Fleet, a survivor of the communist rule of ex-Chinese leader Mao Zedong, noted that Fergie is a "devoted Communist."
Palestine Action's Support Network
Palestine Action is supported by the Action Network, an open platform that empowers progressive causes, including Communism. The Action Network also provides support for another Marxist group, Black Lives Matter. This group holds controversial positions, such as its view of the nuclear family, stating: "We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and 'villages.'"
Many far-left progressives are influenced by Marxist ideologies and act as agents of change to usher in Marxism, followed by Communism. They believe that for this to happen, the West must collapse.
Bottom Line
The actions of Palestine Action and its supporters are indicative of a broader trend of radical left-wing activism. They represent a group of individuals who believe in drastic measures to achieve their political goals. This incident raises questions about the lengths these groups are willing to go to disrupt industries and potentially harm economies. What are your thoughts on this matter?
