Will Democrats Accept the 2024 Presidential Election Results?
Predicting the 2024 Presidential Election
Imagine a scenario where Donald Trump emerges as the winner of the American presidential election on November 6, with over 300 Electoral College votes, defeating Kamala Harris decisively. This result sparks outrage among Democrats, who make claims of election interference by foreign entities, similar to the 2016 election, and threaten to block the certification of the election unless their preferred candidate is installed.
Democrats' Reaction to Election Results
In an effort to nullify the votes of more than half the country, Democrats are seen as waging war against Americans who disagree with them. This is perceived as their final attempt to hold onto power, regardless of the potential damage to the country. The damage inflicted, in fact, seems to be part of their plan.
Anticipating Voter Fraud
An army of lawyers from both political sides is being deployed across the country in anticipation of massive voter fraud, similar to the 2020 election. While Republicans aim to identify and prevent fraud, Democrats are accused of obfuscating their efforts to count ballots multiple times, stop the rejection of invalid ballots, and prevent objective observers from reporting on ballot mishandling by those suspected of committing election fraud. Democrats are also accused of working to allow non-citizens to vote.
Non-Citizen Voting
Fact-checkers argue that non-citizen voting only applies to local and state elections, not federal elections. However, the question arises: why have Democrats, from Joe Biden and beyond, pushed so hard to allow non-citizens to vote? The fear is that once non-citizen voting in local and state elections is legitimized, the America known for over 240 years will cease to exist.
Legal Actions Against Trump
Following the election, there could be an escalation in legal action against Trump, with potential prison sentencing between the election and inauguration in one or more of the criminal cases he faces. This is particularly true with the Jack Smith case in D.C., which is seen as a partisan case of election interference. Despite the belief that all cases against Trump will ultimately be dismissed on appeal due to lack of legitimate basis, Democrats are expected to push forward regardless of the legal precedents they set or the damage they cause to Congress.
Democrats' Plan to Challenge Election Results
Democrats in Congress, particularly those with strong anti-Trump sentiments like Jamie Raskin (D-MD), have already voiced their intention to challenge the election results under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment if Trump wins, even with a potential popular vote victory. This could tie up the election results beyond January 20, 2025. These Democrats appear willing to go to any lengths, even invoking a second Civil War, to prevent Trump's victory.
Potential Damage by Biden-Harris Administration
Consider the potential chaos and damage a lame-duck Biden-Harris administration could inflict on the United States between Election Day and Trump’s second inauguration on January 20, 2025. Fears are that executive orders from an increasingly infirm and vengeful Joe Biden, aided by Dr. Jill, Barack Obama, and Nancy Pelosi, could prevent Trump from taking the oath of office.
Democrats' Accusations Against Trump
Democrats have been accused of becoming everything they have accused Trump of intending to do. In his first term, Trump took no action to lock up Hillary Clinton, who is now promoting her third memoir. Will she ever stop contesting the results of the 2016 election?
Supreme Court Involvement
At some point, the Supreme Court may be forced to intervene, possibly on an emergency basis, to save democracy from Democrats and their political allies who refuse to participate in the peaceful transfer of power.
Restoring Election Integrity
The current state of affairs is disheartening, but there is hope for the future if integrity in our election systems is reinstated. This means ensuring that the people's votes count and are not manipulated by those who would cheat to attain or keep power.
Requiring Photo Identification
Election integrity starts with requiring photo identification. Thirty-six states require photo ID; 14 states and the District of Columbia do not. If we can require photo ID to buy cigarettes or beer, or a driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle, we should be able to require it to exercise our right to vote. This does not disenfranchise anyone except those not eligible to vote.
Trump's Potential Return to the White House
With some degree of integrity restored to America’s election process, the people’s legitimate voices will be heard. This could result in Donald Trump returning to the White House in 2025 with a clear mandate to “drain the swamp” that is Washington, D.C.
Trump's Potential Actions
Upon his return to the White House, Trump could remove unelected political appointees running the alphabet agencies and the leadership class in the military. These bureaucracies could then be completely dismantled and rebuilt by individuals who care about America, not an administrative state that cares only about amassing personal power.
Making Election Day a National Holiday
Now is the time to make Election Day a national holiday and require day-of and in-person voting across the nation, with results known the following day. Reasonable exceptions can be made for members serving in the military and true hardship cases.
Ensuring Election Integrity
To ensure election integrity, absentee ballots will need to be submitted, along with proper identification, no later than November 1, 2028, so they can be counted in advance of Election Day in 2028. If we can make Juneteenth a national holiday, we can certainly benefit all citizens by having Election Day nationalized. Our democracy deserves nothing less.
Bottom Line
The 2024 presidential election could be a turning point in American history. The potential return of Donald Trump to the White House, the Democrats' reaction to the election results, and the possible legal actions against Trump are all factors that could shape the future of the United States.
